Hi! My name is Jiaju Chen, a Master’s student at Rice University.

My research focuses on Human-Centered AI design of NLP applications for domain-specific scenarios, including personalized LLM-powered systems for children’s education [CHI ‘25], dataset for evaluating LLMs’ capability to generate educational-appropriate content [EMNLP ‘24]. Recently, I have been working on LLM Agents for human behavior simulation, such as leveraging LLM to simulate real-world multi-stakeholder evaluation of NLP applications.

Now I am a research assistant at the Human-Centered AI Lab at Northeastern University, working on projects advised by Prof. Dakuo Wang. During my undergraduate study, I worked closely with Prof. Yuling Sun.
